FACE-TO-FACE ORIENTATION

FACE-TO-FACE ORIENTATION Wednesday, September 2, 2020 1st Grade: 8:30 (A-H) 11:00 (I-Q) 1:30 (R-Z) 3rd Grade: 8:45 (A-H) 11:15 (I-Q) 1:45 (R-Z) 5th Grade: 9:00 (A-H) 11:30 (I-Q) 2:00 (R-Z) Thursday, September 3, 2020 K: 8:30 (A-H) 11:00 (I-Q) 1:15 (R-Z) 4th Grade: 8:45 (A-H) 11:15 (I-Q) 1:30 (R-Z) 2nd Grade: 9:00 (A-H) 11:30 (I-Q) 1:45 (R-Z) 6th Grade: 9:15 (A-H) 11:45 (I-Q) 2:00 (R-Z) These orientations will be for students attending face-to-face instruction. Orientation should last approximately one hour. To limit the number of people in each classroom (25 max), only one parent/guardian will be allowed to accompany each student. Please leave siblings at home. If you have multiple children with orientation at the same time, we ask that you try to have another family member attend with that child. Temperature checks will be administered when entering the building. Mask must be worn by everyone ages 8 and above. School uniforms are required for orientation. Parents and students will report straight to the room. You will be told the room when you arrive on campus. Please bring all school supplies labeled with the child’s name on them. The IPSB Technology Fee will be collected during orientation by homeroom teachers. The fee is $20 per child ($40 per family). Spirit Shirt Order forms will be available ($14). 2019- 2020 Yearbooks will be for sale ($20). Student Care registration forms will be available ($20). Pre-K orientation will be one-on-one. Pre-K teachers will contact the parent to setup orientation/testing time. Pre-K orientation/testing will take place September 8th – 11th.

VIRTUAL LEARNER ORIENTATION

VIRTUAL LEARNER ORIENTATION Friday, September 4, 2020 Virtual Learners 8:30 (A-F) 8:45 (G-L) 11:00 (M-R) 11:15 (S-Z) This orientation will be for ALL VIRTUAL LEARNERS. Orientation should last approximately one hour. To limit the number of people in the cafeteria (50 max), we are asking that only one parent/guardian attends orientation per family. Many of our students who have registered for virtual learning have compromised immune systems, so for safety reasons we are asking that NO STUDENTS attend this orientation. Temperature checks will be administered when entering the building. Mask must be worn by everyone. Parents and students will report directly to the cafeteria. Parents will receive information regarding the virtual learning program. Parents will also receive their child’s school ID and Chromebook. Virtual Learners are not responsible for school supplies (if they return to face-to-face learning they will need school supplies) The IPSB Technology Fee will be collected during orientation.
